| The Hypnosis Clinic |
The Santa Monica Hypnosis Clinic was established in 2008 by Elizabeth Saulnier and Melany Friedlander. Elizabeth and Melany met in 2006 while they were both attending classes at the Hypnosis Motivation Institute (HMI). Upon graduating from HMI and completing their clinical residencies, both Elizabeth and Melany opened their own private practices in West Los Angeles. While developing their practices, they often met to discuss the latest advances in hypnotherapy. Realizing that “two head were better than one,” they eventually decided to join forces and create a Hypnosis Clinic, where clients could come to learn more about hypnosis as well as experience the benefits of one-on-one sessions. When they founded the Clinic, their mission was to dispel the myths surrounding hypnosis and provide people with a safe and comfortable environment where they could experience the benefits that hypnosis has to offer. Understanding that weight loss was a top priority for many of their clients, Elizabeth and Melany set out to create the most effective weight loss program. According to Elizabeth Saulnier, “By the time many of our weight loss clients would come in for treatment, many of them felt like they were at the end of their rope. Some of them tried different diets, only to gain back the weight. Others were told by a medical professional that they needed to lose weight and then sent on their way, without any guidance at all.” “At the Hypnosis Clinic, our goal is to help our clients achieve permanent results,” says Melany Friedlander. “When we developed the V-Band, our intention was to give our clients a life-long solution for managing their weight.” Combining elements of hypnosis and neuro-linguistic programming, the V-Band is the newest, most advanced weight loss technique being practiced by hypnotherapists today.
